Looking for soccer-fan friends to watch World Cup games with? Milltown volunteer coach Myles Debski is also President of American Outlaws Portland, a US Soccer supporter group, which will be gathering to cheer on the USA downtown at The Independent! He writes:

AO Members will get priority seating, but all are welcome! If you are bringing the kiddos – you must show up at least 30 minutes before kickoff. We will fill up.

Anheuser-Busch, Truly, and US Soccer will be onsite featuring some activities and giveaways. We also have official drink collabs with Victor 23 Brewing and Mela Cider. And don’t forget The Independent’s brand new food menu – so good!

Over 30 TVs, including huge projector, 20 taps, full bar, kid friendly – come cheer with the Outlaws this Summer.

UK International Soccer will be running soccer camps in our area again this summer. To help bring kids together with other players from their fall and spring soccer teams, they match certain weeks/locations with different local soccer clubs. The Milltown United camp week will be August 3-7 at Powerlines Park!

There are options for a morning session, afternoon session, or full day camp. Registration is open now on their website.

Why choose UK International Soccer Camps?
✅ Flexible scheduling with multiple session times
✅ Tailored, age-appropriate curriculum
✅ Emphasis on player development + FUN
✅ Free giveaways for all campers
✅ Individual player evaluations
✅ All Camps have their very own 2026 Soccer World Cup!!!

This is more than just a soccer camp — it’s a full experience that your child will love and grow from.
