Want more competitive soccer experience? Join us Feb 11h

MORE COMPETiTIVE SOCCER     Milltown STRIVES to offer the best possible rec soccer experience.   Part of this means having an offering that meets the specific competitive level that player wants to participate at.

Our state soccer organization, Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA), offers a league called the Portland Metro League (PML).   Their spring PML will be for U11-U19 players and has traditionally been a competitive league, but the lower division is very appropriate for stronger recreational teams and players seeking a more challenging soccer experience.  We are encouraging our U11-U19 players who want a more competitive experience to register for this experience through Milltown.

We are also working with our state soccer association and our league to help create and structure a “middle ground” recreational soccer program for those wanting more than rec and less than classic.  If successful, this may be a better option than the PML described above for recreational teams and players who want to challenge themselves more than our traditional recreational leagues do.  Details may change a bit as we help move this Portland area effort forward.

Kids can register for BOTH their spring rec team AND/OR their gender/age Milltown PML team.  Two registration fees would be charged if a player is on their rec team and a PML team. Team formation and coaching will be at the discretion of Milltown and dependent upon the level of demand.   We will email those registered players more info late January.

We will get all our PML players together on Saturday February 11th.
