Thank you! Amazing Year for Milltown and our Families

2011 was an amazing soccer year for Milltown United!

We combined two of the areas leading soccer clubs that have been around since the early 1970’s, Milltown Soccer Club and Cedar Splinters Soccer Club, into a new, stronger, better club with a new name:    Milltown United Soccer Club.

We offered spring soccer for the first time with 20 teams entered.  We had nearly 1,500 players in our fall soccer program, our futsal program is gaining momentum.    We blazed the trail by going gender specific with our "Kick and Chase" program for our 5 and 6 year olds.   

At the community level, how about those Timber’s?  It was so special for our club and our families to be such a huge part of the Timbers opening MLS night.  Follow that up by our kids also being on the field, meeting the Timbers players for the Vancouver game, wow.  Icing on the cake, how about when our girls were on the field high fiving our Nations best women’s players as they entered Jeld-Wen Field and challenged Canada.

The positive feedback we have received makes it clear to us we are on the right path.  We will continue to involve our community and strive to offer the best possible rec soccer experience.

Stay tuned for 2012....... we have a few more things up our sleeve we are working on........
